I took these photos over Easter weekend with my lovely cousin Milly. Don't you think she looks just like me?! My mum grew up in South Africa and a lot of her family still live over there so I unfortunately don't get to see them too often. Stoneywell is an Arts and Crafts house in Leicestershire designed by Ernest Gibson and filled with furniture he designed. I had no idea who Ernest Gibson was before I visited this house, but apparently (according to Wikipedia) he is an influential architect-designer from the Arts and Crafts movement of the late nineteenth century. Does anyone else have those dresses that ride up as you walk so that once you're half way down your street (and it's too late to turn back and change) the hem is around your waist and you've shown everyone your knickers? Near where I live there's a place called Bradgate Park. It's basically just a big stretch of protected countryside filled with deer, streams and the ruins of Lady Jane Grey's house (she was queen of England for nine days!)
