This set of photos is my first attempt in a long time to take photos in direct sunlight. Some bloggers manage to do it beautifully, but it's harder than it looks! I borrowed my Dad's new second hand DSLR to take these and I love it. With my new job I should be able to invest in a camera upgrade in the next couple of months and I'm so excited! This is what I wore out to dinner for my birthday last week! I'm wearing paisley again, which might be a bit samey but at least I know what I like! I bought this blazer probably a year and a half ago from the vintage section in Urban Outfitters. I don't wear it that often cause it's not really a daytime jacket (although perhaps it should be!) There are many wonderful things about Christmas. One of my favourite is that it's a good excuse to cover everything in glitter. I love glitter! This week I made a glittery gold garland to hang up in my room, and here's how I did it :)
You will need: String or a bead chain to hang your decorations onto, PVA glue, gold glitter, paint brushes, gold spray paint and decorations to hang on your garland.

I love things that smell good, especially during winter when I'm spending a lot of time indoors. I burn a lot of joss sticks but I also love scented candles, and this is my third tutorial featuring essential oils! (DIY one, DIY two.) I find Yankee Candles super expensive though, especially when it's so easy to make your own! I think it would be hard to replicate the smell of a Yankee Candle using this
