This set of photos is my first attempt in a long time to take photos in direct sunlight. Some bloggers manage to do it beautifully, but it's harder than it looks! I borrowed my Dad's new second hand DSLR to take these and I love it. With my new job I should be able to invest in a camera upgrade in the next couple of months and I'm so excited! This outfit is put together with items that I wear constantly. Seriously, I wear this trousers and coat combo so often that I have to stop in the mornings to work out how many days I've already worn them that week. Both are comfy and funky which is everything that I look for in an outfit! My friends were commenting the other day that when they get home from uni they change straight into comfy clothes

I have a thing for faux fur. I bought this coat when I was in sixth form - it's one of my very first vintage coats! It's surprisingly not a warm layer, so I only get to wear it in that sweet spot between spring and summer when it's cold enough for fur but warm enough to walk around without insulation that buttons up to my neck. Everything that I'm wearing here - excluding my boots and sunglasses -

How cute is this antiques shop front? I spotted it when we were in Edinburgh a week ago and thought it would be a fun place to take photos. This poppy print twosie is another piece that I borrowed from Shop Jessthetics for my holiday in Greece. Having lots of new stock to try out is definitely one of the perks of making clothes for my shop. This twosie is very comfy and wonderfully colourful, even if I do say so myself!
