We had a mini heatwave last week (seriously, it was like 22 degrees!) and so I decided to make the most of it and take a day off to go to the beach. My new (to me) DSLR also just arrived so my friend Emilie and I took our cameras with us for a photo day. I feel like the last blogger in the universe to invest in a DSLR but it feels so good and I love it so much! I'm yet to get to grip with the settings

A while back I took a trip to Cramond beach with my friend Emilie. It's only a 40 minute bus ride, and it was lovely to spend some time outside the city. I also like most of them which is unusual, I think there's something about the bright Greek sunshine and blue skies which make photos look pretty good. A week or so ago I got back from my holiday in Corfu with James and my family. It was amazing! We had a pretty

Last week I went on a family holiday to Sorrento, Italy. We chose Sorrento because it's close to the ancient sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and having been to see an exhibition about Pompeii in the summer we couldn't wait to have a look around the real thing! Now, I have seen a lot of ruins in my life and I am not usually the biggest fan, unlike the rest of my family who love archeology. Pompeii
