I’m doing something a bit different on the blog today because I’m posting in two places at once! I have one DIY here on Jessthetics and another on the Funki Fabrics blog. Have a peek and let me know which top is your favourite :) When Funki Fabrics asked if they could send me some fabrics I was so excited because I had already been browsing their collection for some rainbow fabric for a holiday

As promised, here is part 2 of my Halloween alien costume! In part 1 I showed you how to make the alien headband and today I’ll show you how to make the two-piece. I recently joined the White Tree Fabrics blogging team. White Tree Fabrics sells fabrics, patterns and a whole load of haberdashery bits and bobs, and I'm so excited to be doing my first project with them! For this dress, I chose this Very Easy Vogue pattern, this lovely lawn fabric, and this pinky satin fabric for the lining. I also used a zip and some contrasting yellow thread to sew it all together!
