These pictures are amazing! I really want to visit the Highlands since I’ve never been before

That must’ve been a refreshing trip! Glad you had fun in the simplest way: friends, fun and champagne. I agree that New Year’s always tend to be overhyped – in my uni days I always felt anxious when it rolled round because I never had any plans. Now that’s over with, I can finally kick back and relax. January was a mix of busy and very cold but fun – had a blast last weekend hosting Chinese New Year dinner with friends and games, and felt more productive and feeling more ‘confident’ at work :-D

Your January sounded great! Mine was really uneventful. You make me really want to visit Edinburgh. My family always flew into that city when they were visiting (My grandfather was from Fraserburgh) so I heard great things!

Your photos are always so stunning! Love how gloomy they are, and so jealous I haven’t visited Edinburgh yet. Also thank you SO MUCH for reminding me of Trainspotting 2, I loved the first film and have been waiting so long for the second!

I’ve always been jealous of you all over the pond and your access to beautiful, lush scenery. Your photos look so rustic. I imagine the air is clean, crisp, and nice smelling where you were. I’ve yet to see Trainspotting 1!

These pictures are beautiful! I’ve never been to Scotland before and it’s slowly creeping up my travel list!

Sounds like a really lovely and mostly relaxed month! I love how idyllic your NYE seemed. Makes me want to plan something similar. It just sounds so lovely! Happy February! :) XO – Alexandra
