This is such an excellent post! I try to stay very involved in environmental issues, though I have never participated in earth hour! I usually forget when it is. Maybe this year I will, as nothing is happening yet on Saturday! (a rarity for me!) :) I love your ideas, in fact, these are generally some of my favorite things to do (minus the knitting, I don’t have that skill yet! ;P ) Candlelit yoga sounds like a dream. How lovely! Seriously a fabulous post! :) :) Oh yes, and I haven’t bought candles in probably almost 10 years because I can never find soy candles that are scented responsibly when I’m thinking about it! I just got one as an addition to my Honest bundle last month.. .I am so jazzed! I hope to find some other soy candles as well, unscented etc. I miss having them around! XO – Alexandra

ah, thanks for reminding me! and these are all really nice ideas:-) how old will i sound if i say i think i’ll find it to be too dark to knit/sew/read in candlelight at that time, though? (haha) but i think it won’t be as dark in the uk then as it will here in finland, ha. a candlelit dinner is always lovely, though, so that’s probably what i’ll be doing! xxx

What a great post! I love it! Just last night, we watched “Cowspiracy” on Netflix. It was so interesting and so powerful and touched on many of your points. I hope a lot of people get to see it. Keep up your good work. I’m thinking a candlelight dinner sounds really nice right about now ;)
