This is the last of the photos that I have to share with you from Berlin, snapped during a lovely Sunday of browsing the Mauerpark market, eating lunch in Fast Rabbit and relaxing in the beer garden. I’m not usually a graffiti wall kind’a blogger but there’s so much cool graffiti in Berlin it seemed a shame not too. Plus, my faux leather jacket makes me almost street style enough for this kind of a background, right? It’s probably too cold for me to wear it now but I wore it non-stop this summer. I love the tassels, and James has a similar one from Asos so I find it funny (even though it’s a bit gross) that we match. I’ve been thinking of adding patches and pins to the front, but I just can’t decide whether to keep it plain or not.
I bought this dress in Oxford in July – one of the many things I picked up in the charity shops down there. My friend Chelsea told me she’d seen a dress that I would like and without knowing which one she meant, I headed straight for this one and took it to the till. I guess I’m pretty predictable! Perhaps Chelsea just knows me too well, or maybe I’ve finally achieved that elusive “strong sense of personal style.”

I bought these boots in the New Look sale for £7 about a year and a half ago. I don’t love them but they’re plain and easy to wear and they haven’t yet fallen to pieces. I’ve gone through many pairs of more expensive shoes, and when they fall apart I resort back to these trusty New Look Chelsea boots. They’re looking pretty scruffy but they’re still going! Since they’re in too bad a condition to give away I feel like I can’t get rid of them until they’re unwearable, and the day never comes. Looks like I’ll be wearing these for a couple more years yet! Moving on to another part of my outfit, I’ve never been sure about mirrored glasses. Round and colourful ones will always be my preference but I fell for this pair in Black Moon and wore them all summer. I particularly like that if you look closely you can see James’ image reflected back into the camera lense. It’s like you can see “behind the scenes” in the scene itself. Then what’s the difference between the two?! All lines are blurred!! All because of my mirrored sunnies!!
love your style, the sunglasses are so cool!
