This outfit is put together with items that I wear constantly. Seriously, I wear this trousers and coat combo so often that I have to stop in the mornings to work out how many days I’ve already worn them that week. Both are comfy and funky which is everything that I look for in an outfit! My friends were commenting the other day that when they get home from uni they change straight into comfy clothes like jogging bottoms and jumpers. I realised that I never do because all of my clothes are already stretchy, elasticated and warm! I won this coat on eBay with the intention to sell it in my Etsy shop but I just had to keep it for myself. I’m not sure if you can tell, but the material is velvet and it’s padded on the inside which makes it extra cosy! It’s the perfect 90s does 70s dream coat that I’ve been looking for for years. I ordered these bell bottoms from Ette recently too. My first ever pair of bell bottoms came from Ette and I’m so happy to have added another to my collection. They fit my perfectly, they’re just the right length but still more affordable than other brands and they’re totally badass.

My jumper is a piece that my Nana knitted in the 70s and I wear it obsessively because it’s the warmest jumper I own and just the right amount of cropped so that it goes with all my high waisted clothes. This necklace was a gift from my Mum a couple of Christmas’ ago and it’s from Waiste. I don’t wear a lot of jewellery, but I wear this almost daily. I had a fun experience at an Indian restaurant in Edinburgh where the lady serving us asked if the crystals in my necklace were real. I said I didn’t know, and she held the pendant in her hands and told me she could feel the energy of the crystals and explained to me how to cleanse them in the moonlight. I love it when people ask you about your clothes and it allows you to have conversations with interesting people. The man in the post office always tells me that he likes my trousers!
WOW! I love your great coat!
That color is cool!
