We’re so far into December that it’s nearly Christmas. It’s become tradition for me to write these monthly reviews two weeks late, and I wouldn’t want to break tradition! Most of my photos from November seem to have been taken at night time, but there’s only sunlight in Scotland for about 3 hours at the moment, and I’m usually in the library for the duration. I’m getting so used to the dark that it felt surreal to be in my flat at lunchtime yesterday with sunlight streaming through the windows. I have been off my blogging game lately. I’ve had an absolute tonne of assignments and I’m almost at the end of exam season. I decided to concentrate on doing my uni work and seeing my friends and put blogging on the back burner until the Christmas holidays (which are in a week, yippee!). Although this blog is very important to me, it’s also something I do for fun, so I figured I shouldn’t worry about being too busy to post. I thought you deserved an explanation for my absence since I haven’t been able to reply to comments or visit your blogs lately, which is a shame because that’s one of my favourite things about blogging. I miss it, I miss you all, and I’m looking forward to having a lot of spare time over the holidays!
Asides from writing a lot of essays in November, I did have time for a little fun! I visited James in London and spent the entire weekend writing about environmental policy – next time I won’t book a visit straight before a deadline. James came to Edinburgh, and we took some fun outfit photos that I’m looking forward to sharing with you! Two of my lovely school friends, Hayley and Rum also visited me which was awesome! We went to a Brazilian club and wandered around Edinburgh and the Christmas market. I celebrated bonfire night with my uni friends, went to the Christmas market a bunch more times, browsed charity shops and saw The Hunger Games at the movies (which is so so good!)
Tell me your news! How have you been?
