This set of outfit photos was taken about a month ago when I was visiting James in London. Excuse the slightly gloomy lighting – we took these photos at like 3pm, and apparently that’s when it gets dark now. It gets darker even earlier in Edinburgh – I think the sun actually started setting at 2pm today. The gloom makes me want to spend all day eating junk food under a blanket, except that wouldn’t be very productive! I seem to have an obsession with graveyards at the moment for some reason. They’re just so atmospheric, and they’re a fun place to take photos! This is an outfit that I wear a lot. I seem to be wearing roll neck jumpers and bell bottoms 6 days out of the week at the moment, but it’s an easy outfit to wear to feel like you’ve made an effort whilst being so comfortable. Comfort is my number one priority when getting dressed in the morning, I must be getting old!
Outfit Details: Bell Bottoms, Ette / Jumper, Vintage / Lace Jacket, Vintage / Hat, H&M (Old) / Boots, New Look / Necklace, Waiste
Both my silver eyeshadow and my lipstick are from Lush. I love their liquid makeup, and I wear some of the colourful ones as lipsticks even though I think they’re meant for eyes! If you’ve been paying a lot of attention you might have noticed that I wear this pair of Chelsea boots in all of my outfit posts, and that’s because I wear them every day. They’re starting to let the rain in, which is sad. I bought them in May for like, £7 though so they haven’t done too badly. The worst thing about buying vegan boots is that they tend to be cheap and break quickly, and it feels so wasteful to keep throwing away shoes. I actually have a huge collection of heels and a tiny selection of every-day (and rain appropriate) shoes so I wear the same boots all the time! I hope you’re having a good week and you have a fun weekend planned. I’m looking forward to celebrating a delayed Thanksgiving tomorrow with one of my American friends!
Your bell bottoms are beautiful!!! Gorgeous outfit!

Might I gently suggest that you’re not getting older when making comfort a dressing priority; you’re quite practical. Your life revolves around ever-changing priorities with your studies, which are fun, but challenging. Your focus is elsewhere. An example would be if you spend much more time sitting in a cold place. Best not to wear tight-fitting (i.e., non-stretch), light-weight fabrics. Am certain this outfit works just now for the many changing circumstances in your current situation. How wise you are to plan appropriately. It works for you! Yes, it does get dark quite early up in your area, or so I’ve read. You might consider getting one of those lamps that mimic sunlight. They do help! del xx
Those pants are amazing!!!
I’ve also nominated you for “The Versatile Award” – check out my post if you fancy taking part
