High heels aren’t very practical for the countryside, but I just wanted to test out this outfit before I go to Greece next week. Since I can’t take photos on the beach until then, I’ll have to make do with some pretty English countryside! It’s not Greece, but it’s not too shabby. This dress from French Connection is a dream to wear. I feel pretty fancy in it. It’s so soft and silky, and there’s so much at fabric at the skirt, it’s a lot of fun to twirl around in! It’s too nice to wear during the day so I’ve been saving it up for my holiday – I want to wear it whilst drinking wine by the pool, and eating in tavernas til late. I really like the uneven patchwork effect on the hem, it makes it stand out from your average floral maxi dress!

I recently treated myself to these sunglasses and shoes from ASOS. It felt wrong to go on holiday without getting anything new! I snapped up these shoes in the sale after a lot of deliberation. I think they’re the perfect 90s-esque shape, and the strap detail is pretty cute. I’ve been dying for a size of oversized leopard print sunglasses since I saw a pair on the lovely Orchid Grey. You can never have too many sunglasses, right?! Taking photos in the countryside is always fun – as we were taking these a cow actually got into the river beside us. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t just a bit scared of them!
Lady you look stunning! Wow. such a badass babe.
Very pretty pictures! The rural setting is a perfect background for the dress (but I think you’re lucky you didn’t sprain your ankle in those heels!)
You look amazing- these photos are gorgeous! Perfect backdrop for that dress. So jealous you are heading to Greece- I had the best time there and hope I make it back one day!
