A beautiful breakfast in Edinburgh
Sunny park days in London
Lazy like Sunday morning. More fun in the sun in London!
Me and my ladies! Celebrating Chelsea’s birthday in York.
Feeling poorly but happy in a boat on Durham river.
Man, June has been a busy one! It feels like I’ve spent more time away than at home this month. The good thing about having friends dotted all over the country is that I get to visit! At the beginning of the month I spent a weekend in Edinburgh (wearing tie dye and lace!) flat hunting. We did find a flat, and if everything goes to plan I’ll be moving in at the end of the month I spent the following weekend hanging out with my friends in London. I wore this 70s jumpsuit, and we enjoyed chatting until the early hours and sunbathing in the heat. I also spent a long weekend in York partying to celebrate my friend Chelsea‘s birthday, and this last week I’ve been hanging out in County Durham with James. We had a lovely day out on the river in Durham, and explored Hadrian’s Wall. I’ve been suffering from a summer flu this week, so it’s not been incredibly productive, but I think the worst of it is over!
I guess my big news (in case you hadn’t already noticed) is that Jessthetics has had a makeover! This is something that I’ve been working towards for a while, and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Thank you pipdig and Stacie Swift for making my blog look so beautiful
As usual, I’ve been getting my craft on. This month I made a thread holder, an elephant plant pot, a daisy chain choker and some marbled photo frames. I also baked some cakenuts, wore this lovely jumpsuit in the countryside, interviewed the gorgeous Miss JoJangles and talked about my creative process in a blog hop.
Phew, here’s to a fun filled July! I hope your June has been wonderful.
