These photos were taken when James and I climbed Arthurs Seat last week. It was fairly sunny and I had a lot of fun playing around with my new camera! I am currently in Oxford enjoying the heatwave to my best abilities – I’m wearing cute tassel shorts and a huge pair of sunglasses. Summer has arrived, yay! I’ve been struggling to remember what I actually did this month. I’ve mostly been working on my dissertation and working at my part time job. I have a 20,000 word draft due at the end of this month which is terribly scary! James has also moved in for summer and it is so nice to have him around. We’ve been studying together like we used to when we were at uni together in York and we just finished watching Twin Peaks. I can’t wait for the next one to come out!
This month I’ve blogged about my trip to North Berwick, a very shiny sequin outfit and this vegan ice cream sandwich recipe! It’s a shame that this year I haven’t been able to put as much into my blog as I would like to. In an ideal world, once I finish my dissertation I’ll get another part time job for a couple of days a week, and then I’ll have 3 days where I can pour energy into blogging and my Etsy shop! I think that everyone should work a four day week. We’d all be a lot happier if we had more spare time and so it would be great if I could make that work.
What have you been up to this month? I’d love to hear your news!
Having written a dissertation, I have a good sense of what you’re going through! The best plan is to get it done and move on to the rest of your life!
