These photos were taken when I was in London back in January. I met up with my favourite blogging babes Bel and Laila for a day of fun! They’ve both written posts on our day (here and here). London is a fun city but I always resent the expense of public transport so I decided to walk from James’ student halls near Kings Cross to Holloway Road to meet Bel and Laila. It was such a rainy day and I arrived feeling cold and bedraggled which explains why I’m wearing my gloves in all of these photos! We spent the day getting coffee, eating lunch and then getting more coffee in between browsing high end vintage that none of us can afford. I’m wearing my fishnet Pretty Little Thing dress which has been my favourite going-for-drinks / dinner / house party dress ever since I bought it at Christmas. I’m sure it will make another appearance on the blog! It’s black and bodycon so it’s fairly understated, but the fishnet just makes it a little more interesting. I’ve been on the hunt for some fishnet trousers too – let me know if you come across any!
Thanks to Bel for snapping some photos for me! I love this photo of Laila wearing Bel’s amazing fur coat whilst we take pictures. The jumper that I’m wearing was actually made for my mum by my Nana in the 70s. It’s one of the things I discovered whilst rummaging through my mum’s linen draws in summer. It’s a little snug on me but it’s so warm and I wear it all the time. It’s so much more special knowing it was knitted by my Nana. The scarf that I’m wearing is also pretty sentimental – James bought it for me in India when he was travelling this summer. It’s not particularly warm but it is completely beautiful and I’ve been saving it for special occasions. I’m looking forward to hanging out with these two again soon! I’m so grateful to have made such wonderful in-real-life friends from blogging.
