Yesterday James and I found ourselves north of Newcastle so we decided to take a walk along Hadrian's Wall, whilst we were in the area. The wall mostly blends in with the dry stone walls surrounding it, but it's fun to see the ruins of old gateways dotted along the hills, and imagine the "barbarians" trying to attack Roman Britain. The next project in my quest to add colour to everything in my room is this cute marbled picture frame DIY! I actually bought these frames thinking that I would decorate them with a tiled mosaic, but that proved to be too difficult. I'm glad I marbled them instead though because this project is easier, cheaper, quicker and filled with just as much colour!
